On 30th October 2024, the University of Danang and RMIT Vietnam University held a ceremony to announce the establishment of a cooperative relationship, marking an important milestone in the partnership between the two institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The announcement ceremony was chaired by Professor Iwona Miliszewska – Dean of the School of Science, Engineering & Technology at RMIT Vietnam, and Associate Professor Dr. Ph\u1ea1m Tr\u1ea7n V\u0169 \u2013 Vice-Rector, with the presence of leaders from various departments and functional units from both sides.<\/p>\n\n\n

The meeting was attended by the school’s leadership and the relevant departments and units from both sides.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Under the agreement, the two institutions will collaborate on training initiatives and research projects focused on similar fields, thereby proposing useful initiatives and producing research outcomes with practical value. Additionally, both parties will work together to organise workshops, conferences, competitions, and events to create opportunities for networking, learning, and developing soft skills for students.<\/p>\n\n\n

Among the potential areas for connection, Assoc. Prof. Pham Tran Vu particularly highlighted the Bach Khoa Innovation competition \u2013 a large-scale startup playground organised annually by the University of Science and Technology to nurture practical ideas and research projects from students and start-up teams. The organising committee hopes that RMIT Vietnam’s role as a partner will help promote the strategic goals of the competition by broadening its international scope and attracting more promising teams to participate in future editions.<\/p>\n\n\n
