Thanking the ITA, ACIMIT and HCMUT, Hoang Vi shared that the trip is a valuable experience when having the opportunity to meet the “big guys” in the textile industry as well as access many new technologies, at the same time interact with foreign students to better understand the culture and development of the textile industry in the countries where these students come.

Seeing with her own eyes the machines, materials and technologies on display at the exhibition that can only be learned through books, Thuy Tien said that she has gained a more intuitive perspective on how automation control, biotechnology, material science, etc. are applied to the textile sector. “The knowledge gained from this trip is one of the prerequisites for me to learn more about various aspects of the textile industry,” Thuy Tien said.

According to the Head of the delegation, the Head of the Department of Textile Engineering Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Mai Huong, this is the third time that students of the Department of Textile Engineering have received a scholarship to visit and experience Italian technology and culture (the previous two times were in 2015 and 2017). This is the result of HCMUT’s long-term cooperation with ACIMIT and ITA to create practical activities to improve students’ understanding and support training in Textile Engineering and Garment Technology, a famous industry in Italy. Officially operated at HCMUT In 2017, the Italy-Vietnam Textile Technology Center was a premise for extensive cooperation in Italian textile training and technology development in  Vietnam.

In addition to four days of attending the exhibition and professional exchange, the delegations had a day to visit some famous historical and cultural landmarks in Italy, especially the beautiful city of Florence in Tuscany.
