The internal quality assurance system at HCMC University of Technology has been designed and developed in order to constantly assess, measure, maintain and improve essential activities, such as educating, training, learning, researching, and service providing. This system supports the achievement of missions, visions, and objectives of HCMUT and other stakeholders.
To measure, to evaluate, and to control total quality management for sustainable and reliable quality of operation activities.
To be accordance with requirements and standards of educational accreditation organizations, such as Ministry of Education, HCMC National University, AUN-QA, ABET, or AACSB.
In order to strengthen the quality assurance activities within regional universities, ASEAN University Network has established a universal standards set on which universities rely to assess if a certain educational program meets the typical quality requirements of ASEAN universities (ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance, or AUN-QA).
This is also the way that universities in the ASEAN Network enhance mutual trust about education quality among regional universities and with other partners worldwide. With constant efforts, the School of Industrial Management had been hornored to receive AUN-QA Accreditation in 2014.
In 2022, the School of Industrial Management received FIBAA accreditation for the undergraduate program. This is the evidence for educational quality at SIM. Not only that, the accreditation also utilizes SIM students for better job opportunities and makes them more competitive in global labor market.
