Applicants must have successfully completed a bachelor’s degree or higher-level qualification in business administration discipline (i.e., right discipline) or in a related discipline (i.e., near discipline) (determined by the code in the List of codes for Level IV undergraduate disciplines issued by the Ministry of Education and Training under Circular No. 24/2017/TT-BGDDT dated October 10, 2017).
Applicants who have completed an undergraduate degree in a discipline different from the business or related disciplines need to complete pre-MBAcourses before applying. The pre-MBA courses provide additional knowledge of the business administration discipline, helping applicants graduateing from other disciplines to start the MBA program smoothly. In certain cases, the number of pre-MBA courses can be reduced according to the examination of the Academic Committee based on the applicant’s university transcripts.
Professional requirements:
Candidates need to have a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or in related majors.
Skill requirements:
All candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can register for the qualifying exam.
Experience requirements:
Applicants must have 2 years of working experience. In case the applicants do not have work experience, they need to have an excellent academic record at the undergraduate level and need to be approved by the Academic Committee for this requirement.
After graduation, students are expected to have the capability to meet the diverse requirements of the socio-economic context of extensive international integration, namely:
1. Applied program:
– Generate business ideas in different situations, especially with the influence of digital technology
– Create a business plan/project and management system
– Deploy a business plan/project and management system corresponding to various constraints
– Evaluate a business plan/project and management system corresponding to the specific conditions
– Have leadership capacity in different situations (forming and realizing visions; leading and sustaining innovations)
– Have entrepreneurial capacity in diverse contexts (develop business opportunities, find new resources, identify and exploit intellectual proper
2. Research program:
– Generate business ideas in different situations, especially with the influence of digital technology
– Create and evaluate a business plan/project and management system corresponding to various constraints
– Have leadership capacity in different situations (forming and realizing visions; leading and sustaining innovations)
– Have entrepreneurial capacity in diverse contexts (develop business opportunities, find new resources, identify and exploit intellectual property)
– Participate in teaching in management and business at universities and research institutes, and be ready to study for a PhD program.
