ABOUT US
SIM was developed from the Department of Industrial Management in 1990. The original mission of the school was to provide management training for those who have technical backgrounds.
As a faculty of HCMUT, SIM aims to promote interdisciplinary training, bridging between technology and management knowledge blocks. SIM is committed to building an intellectual environment with high quality standards in teaching, research and learning towards regional and international integration. With nearly 60 lecturers, most of whom graduated overseas, the school promotes high quality scientific research and innovations to meet education demands.
SIM provides training, research and consulting services to the community by operating its strategic business units (SBUs), including: (1) Bachelor programs taught in Vietnamese and English; (2) four master programs: the local MBA program taught in Vietnamese, the international MBA program taught in English, the joint Maastricht MBA program with a focus in global strategy, and the joint Master of International Consulting program; (3) a PhD program; and (4) BR&T Center.
