The winning groups in the Student Category

On the other side, students from universities and high schools are not far behind. They’re boldly stepping up with unique, creative ideas aimed at integrating technology to solve real-world problems. Many of their projects focus on helping vulnerable communities and explore areas like biotechnology, environmental solutions, and food innovation. This year’s competition promises to deliver inspiring solutions with real social impact.

After three rigorous rounds of BKI, the finalists delivered polished presentations in English, confidently showcasing their innovative projects and smoothly answering the Judge Board’s questions. The consultation board was impressed by the teams’ dedication and expertise, offering valuable feedback to encourage their continued pursuit of scientific research and innovation even after the contest.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Tran Vu expressed his admiration for the record number of teams participating in BKI 2024, applauding their creativity and passion for learning. He emphasised the competition’s growing international presence, acknowledging that while the number of foreign teams did not fully meet expectations, the involvement of international partners is a promising step. This sets the stage for expanding the contest on a larger global scale in the years to come.

These factors will be key drivers for Bach Khoa Innovation’s rise between 2025 and 2030, positioning it to become Southeast Asia’s leading startup and innovation competition. This growth will support the internationalisation of the startup community and national enterprises while advancing HCMUT’s goal of becoming a top entrepreneurial university.

BKI 2024 wrapped up with great success, leaving all participating teams filled with pride and enthusiasm. Regardless of whether they received awards, each team demonstrated remarkable effort and contributed significantly to the competition over the past six months. Heartfelt congratulations to all the teams!
