To provide fundamental knowledges about scheduling and sequencing for industrial companies. This course helps learners with production planning, scheduling and sequencing for orders set to meet due dates. Student will be able to manage and control all manufacturing resources such as: machines, equipment, production lines, tools, and staffs, to cover all orders.

This course includes knowledge of production planning management, scheduling and sequencing to meet customers’ requirements. Scheduling and sequencing models and algorithms are provided to develop production planning which meets the elders’ due dates and improves the effectiveness of the production and operation system.

  • Analyze production planning and scheduling & sequencing
  • Explain and apply scheduling & sequencing models and algorithms
  • Schedule the scheduling and sequencing planning based on scheduling & sequencing algorithms (one machine, two machines or multi-machines schedule).

Moreover, students will work in the production department at industrial companies.
