Important financial decisions, such as investing, financing and working capital managing will be presented. Moreover, topics about risk and return relationship and costs of capitals will also be discussed.

The subject includes knowledge about corporate finance and their applications in business such as the time value of money, analysis of financial statements, risks, bonds, stocks, capital budgeting evaluation, and the cost of capital.

  • Analyze and explain roles of financial management; explain and apply financial statement analysis; explain financial planning.
  • Analyze and calculate the time value of money; apply to value bonds and stocks; explain and apply to estimate risk and return.
  • Analyze, evaluate and select value-added investment projects.
  • Analyze and estimate cost of capital and evaluate, select and make capital structure decisions.

The objective of this course is to help students develop an understanding of the concepts and techniques of financial management in the modern business enterprises.
