Provide to Student with knowledge about international finance, opportunities and risks of international business and investment, exchange rate risk hedging tools available for corporations.

The course discusses micro issues facing corporations in international financial environment, including exchange rate risk management, tools to hedge transaction risk, economic risk and translation risk. Knowledge in using currencies derivatives is also presented.

  • Analyze and explain impacts of macroeconomic volatilities to the international financial management of corporations.
  • Analyze, and select international financial strategies using hedging tools to manage international financial risks.
  • Analyze, and select optimal solutions in international financial management of corporations.

This course presents knowledge about macroeconomics, international finance to explain for the fluctuations of foreign exchange rates, including theories of balance of payment, international parity conditions.
