The next visit in the factory tour os ESDES and SIM students was Hung Phat_Andors Vietnam. ANDROS has developed a range of fruit ingredients dedicated to the professionals of food and beverage. Hung Phat_Andros Vietnam has 02 factories located in Tien Giang, a province in Mekong Delta which has the convergence and convenience for harvesting seasonal tropical fruits such as mango, dragon fruit, papaya, etc.
Students from ESDES and SIM visited the processing and manufacturing lines in the 02 factories in My Tho and in Go Cong. Students were guided and explained by the factory managers about the products, the market, as well as the process of purchasing and processing the products. Students experienced each step in the quality inspection process of incoming fruits, cleaning, peeling, seed removal, slicing, freezing, etc.The entire production process was explained by the factory supervisors within the visit. At the end of the visit, students also had the chance to taste tropical fruit products ask questions to clarify the objectives and outcomes of each stage in the processing process.
