French Students From Esdes Business School Studying At SIM – HCMUT

Since 2022, School of Industrial Management (SIM) has organized international semesters for over 120 French students from ESDES Business School to study in HCMUT, Vietnam.

In the program, the students studied 6 subjects at SIM taught by Vietnamese and French professors. Moreover, they had opportunities to participate in tours to the Cu Chi Tunnels, and Mekong Delta as well as field trips to several enterprises in Vietnam, such as Phuoc Du Long Pottery Co., Ltd, Khanh Hoi Company, S-Furniture Company, Andros Asia, C-Brewmaster Brewery Tien Giang, etc.

During the visits and field trips, the students have gained a better understanding of Vietnamese culture and history. Besides, visiting companies and factories provided them with valuable knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain management, business development, marketing management, etc. in the Vietnamese market. Accordingly, they can realise the differences in business environments between many countries, thereby enhancing their management skills & knowledge in multinational environments as well as the ability to identify opportunities for international business development.

During these semesters, many Vietnamese students had great chances to join in classes, seminars and field trips with French students to make friends and expand their knowledge and cross-cultural experiences.
