EXCITING INTERNATIONAL SCIENCE SYMPOSIA DURING A SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY WEEK

Responding to a Science and Technology Week held every two years at the Ho Chi Minh University of Technology (HCMUT), many faculties of the Faculty of Applied Science, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, and Faculty of Transportation Engineering took its turn to organize international science symposia, attracting many domestic and international scientists and speakers to participate in and exchange their ideas on specific topics.

The International Symposium on Applied Science

The International Symposium on Applied Science 2023 occurred from October 13 – 15, 2023. The International Symposium on Applied Science 2023 (ISAS 2023) covers the fields of Engineering Physics and Mechanics, Applied Mathematics and Computational Physics, and technology innovation. The Symposium created a platform for scientists, academics, and businesses to meet and improve their professional capacity through discussion sessions, seminars, and nearly 30 poster presentations.

Dr. Le Xuan Dai (Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science) gives the opening speech of the ISAS 2023 Symposium.

The Symposium on “Vietnam’s International Integration – Theory and Practice”

Following the Symposium, the Faculty of Applied Science cooperated with the Faculty of Fundamental Sciences at the Ho Chi Minh City Open University to organize the Symposium on “Vietnam’s International Integration – Theory and Practice” on October 19, 2023. There were 07 papers presented at the Symposium on economic integration in the era of the 4.0 revolution, international cooperation expansion, independent Vietnamese economy development topics, and so on.

Prof. Dr. Le Minh Phuong gives the opening speech at the Symposium on “Vietnam’s international integration – Theory and Practice”.

The International Symposium on Electrical and Electronics Engineering

The 2023 International Symposium on Electrical and Electronics Engineering (ISEE 2023) occurred from October 19 – 20, 2023, with a lot of participation of in-country experts and researchers from the USA, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, etc. The papers presented at ISEE 2023 mainly focused on Integrated Circuits and Systems, Embedded Systems, Telecommunications Systems, Control and Automation, and Power and Energy Systems. Besides, there was also an exhibition displaying products of companies and students at the B6 yard.

Dr. Nguyen Quang Nam (Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering ) delivers the opening speech at the Symposium.
Dr. Huynh Phu Minh Cuong (Vice Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering) sends an acknowledgment to the sponsors.
Mr. Ray Nguyen (Director of Analog Mixed Signal and Circuits, Marvell Technology Inc.) gives a presentation at the Symposium.
Delegates visit the exhibition booths at the yard B6.

Also, the Technology Business Incubation Center coordinated with the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering to organize the Exhibition “ISEE  2023 – Innovative Solutions of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering”. The exhibition brought projects, ideas, and research topics in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and the Technology Business Incubation Center of the lecturers and graduates. The show took place in a vibrant atmosphere and received positive responses from attendees, creating a room for businesses and investors who attended the show to exchange ideas and practice networking. The show also attracted a lot of lecturers, students, foreign guests, and other attendees. Everyone was excited to visit the booths, discussing and learning about the products displayed, through which they could seek opportunities for future cooperation and development.
