Beijing Jiaotong University (BJTU) delegation first visit HCMUT on January 12th, 2024, to discuss opportunities for academic and research cooperation between the two sides.
In this visit, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mai Thanh Phong – President and leaders of faculties/departments, welcomed Prof. YU Zujun – Principal and heads of institutes/departments of Beijing Jiaotong University.
Beijing Jiaotong University, which has 128 years of history, is one of the oldest training institutions in China with strengths in transportation technology and engineering, construction engineering, information, management majors, etc. BJTU currently has 18 training institutes with about 30,000 learners. It is also one of the first schools allowed to award Master’s and Doctoral degrees.
Prof. YU Zujun highly appreciated the training capacity of HCMUT and affirmed that the two schools have many things in common that can connect to exchange students and lecturers and implement projects related to transportation and logistics, information technology, urban planning, etc. BJTU President also invited leaders of HCMUT to visit BJTU to continue exchanges and sign a cooperation agreement.
Express his honor to have the opportunity to connect with a mighty training institution like Beijing Jiaotong University. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mai Thanh Phong hopes the two sides can build a valid direction for cooperation, create practical value for learners, and contribute to expanding the HCMUT’s potential partnerships in China.
